Brittany is our litigation paralegal. We hope you’ll never meet her, but if we end up having to file suit in your case, you’ll hear from Brittany a lot. She helps our clients to navigate the litigation process and assists our attorneys with the discovery, case work, and trial preparation that goes into a case once a suit has been filed.
Brittany’s background is in nonprofit work. She studied Psychology and Human Services at the University of Lynchburg. She’s passionate about people and about working with vulnerable populations. She completed her senior internship at a local homeless response organization before becoming a program coordinator at a nonprofit that serves individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities.
But Brittany has always been deeply fascinated by law and decided to switch careers in 2023 to join our firm. She says it was easy to make the switch because she still sees herself as a helping professional. She’s trained to help people navigate difficult situations in their lives, and that is what she still does for our clients every day.
When Brittany isn’t working, her idea of a good time is curling up with a trial transcript from a famous court case, cross-stitching, and hanging out with her husband and three daughters.
