Ryan Lawson is a native of Corbin, Kentucky and entering his third year at Liberty University School of Law. Ryan received a bachelor’s degree in political science from University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
He has spent time working in the United States Senate, where he served as both a legislative intern and a press intern for a United States Senator. Most recently, Ryan served as a law intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky. While with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Ryan aided federal prosecutors with various phases of criminal prosecution during a challenging environment with COVID-19.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys woodworking, reading, camping, and hiking with his wife, Kelsey. He enjoys being active in the community and, prior to law school, served in a construction-based ministry and as a youth group leader at his church in Kentucky.
