Osterbind Law, PLLC, a fast-paced, family-run personal injury law firm located in Lynchburg, Virginia, is seeking an experienced and organized full-time paralegal/legal assistant. This is an entry-level position providing administrative support and legal assistance in a law firm setting with friendly, but focused attorneys.

This position is not for everyone; however, it will be the “perfect” fit for someone. We are growing!

We need a self-starter. We need someone that is disciplined and can execute a busy schedule with ease and thrives on the pace of a busy law office. We also need someone that is independent and can run with a project until it is completed, problem solved. Knowing how to “Get Things Done” is essential. Solution-oriented candidates are welcome. You will work, each weekday, with the following people: current clients, past clients, potential clients, referral sources, attorneys, court staff, paralegals.

You must love the telephone and email as many of the tasks for this position center around communicating (well) to people over the phone and by email.

Work Days: 8:30 to 5:00 (business hours) Monday-Friday. One hour for lunch.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a variety of tasks from a variety of different sources (clients, courts, other team members).

  • Scanning, copying, and uploading the incoming and outgoing paper to a cloud-based digital system.
  • Assist with client intake, court filings, online filings, and more.
  • Light cleaning.

Skills Required:
