At Osterbind Law, we’re not your typical law firm—and we’re not looking for your typical office manager. We’re hiring a Business & Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day business systems and serve on our firm’s leadership team.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives behind the scenes—someone who gets excited about spreadsheets, systems, checklists, and culture. If you enjoy organizing chaos, managing finances, improving workflows, and helping people do their best work, we want to meet you.
🔎 What You’ll Do
You’ll be the operational backbone of the firm—making sure everything runs smoothly so our attorneys can focus on fighting for our clients. You will:
- Manage firm financials in QuickBooks (bank reconciliation, vendor payments, expense tracking)
- Oversee Profit First distributions to keep our financial house in order
- Submit Advocate Capital funding requests and monitor repayment
- Own internal operations, including SOP documentation, admin systems, and office supply management
- Lead hiring and onboarding—from job postings to day-one setup and training
- Support and supervise administrative staff
- Host quarterly check-ins with team members to align goals and expectations
- Lead on our EOS leadership team, attending Level 10 meetings, tracking Scorecard metrics, and helping solve key firm issues using the EOS framework
🎯 Who You Are
You might be the perfect fit if you:
- Are naturally organized, proactive, and calm under pressure
- Have experience managing budgets, projecting revenue and expenses, and bookkeeping (especially QuickBooks)
- Holding people accountable to key result areas and having honest conversations with employees
- Are familiar with or eager to learn EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) from Traction by Gino Wickman
- Have 3–5+ years of experience in operations, finance, or law firm administration
- Love building systems, improving processes, and helping people grow

📅 Schedule & Location
This is a full-time, in-person role in our Lynchburg office. Hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with one hour for lunch.
